“Help our Community” Referral Program
Your referrals mean the world to us. We work hard to earn each referral with great service and appreciation for your business every day. As our way of saying thank you, we’re kicking off our new “Help Our Community” referral program. We love supporting the charitable efforts in our community, so we’ve tied referrals and charitable giving together. Here’s how it works:
Each time we receive a referral from you, we send you a $5 gift and donate $10 towards our charity of the quarter. What qualifies as a referral? A referral is when we are contacted for a quote from someone saying you referred them to us. Don’t worry we ask on every call.
More about the Donation
- For every referral we receive, we will donate $10 to the charity of the quarter
- Each team member will get a turn to pick their own local organization to support.
- At the end of each quarter we will make a lump sum donation to the selected organization. We will post what our quarterly donation totals to celebrate the joy of helping others.
That’s it. The person you refer doesn’t have to purchase a policy from us. If we’re not competitive, your referral still counts. There are so many worthy charitable organizations in our community. Help us help them!
Our referral program is open to anyone, whether they’re a client or not.

Mountain Lakes Insurance opened its doors in 2009. Owners Erwin Dykstra & Jeff Nevison were former agency owners with a captive carrier but had a calling to create their own brand of customer service and experience. Our vision is to be the most valued and respected insurance agency in our community by providing trustworthy advice, reliable service, professionalism and friendliness to everyone we meet.
Our incredible team of agents has over 79 years combined experience. We strive to go beyond the basics and engage with our clients on a personal level. We provide highly rated carriers that offer our clients competitive coverage protection and claims service.
After 10 years, we still strive above all else, to provide exceptional value through knowledge and transparency. We are committed to serving our clients, community, and team members with integrity and compassion.
